B O D Y + M I N D
Body + Mind is a project born from the communion between psychology and massage.
It is developed based on the understanding of body and mind as parts of a whole and not as separate entities.

My name is Brenda and I am originally from Spain. I have been living for almost a decade in Berlin where I have started to develop my career path.
I studied psychology at university, after which I did a master's degree in forensic anthropology after beginning to feel that the path of psychology and the work with people's health and life is not only reduced to a mental and cerebral sphere, but that other factors such as lifestyle, the socio-cultural moment and the integral functioning of the body come together as a whole.
It has not been a quick, easy or immediate trajectory as many social and professional factors have led to the cloistering of different professions and approaches, but little by little I have been aware and honest with myself and the way I want to practice the profession of caring for people's health, working with them, connecting and creating something new. A new me, a new lifestyle, a new body, a new mindset from the root that already exists.
Vision and work
In the hyper-connected but isolating world of the cult of appearance but neglect of substance, of rushing and doing many things but often forgetting the meaning, purpose and enjoyment of these, working with people in an analogue, calm and conscious way has become for me a mission and a necessity.
Working with people and their health is for me working with as many aspects of self and life as possible.
In massage I have found the perfect tool that brings many of these aspects together in one session.
My massage sessions do not consist of the receiver lying on a massage table and working on their muscle contractions. My sessions are oriented to calm down, to breathe, to connect and to become aware of oneself and in the second instance of the day to day and the environment around us. In my sessions I try to accompany the receiver to look inwards and then look outwards.
We achieve this through a warm, assertive and empathic conversation, we use breathing techniques that calm us and connect with our parasympathetic nervous system. Once we are calm, we work on the body with the required intensity and techniques. At the end of the massage I like to offer again the possibility of a post session talk to share the impressions and effects of the session, to breathe, meditate, share a hot tea and send the person off to return to their day to day life from a more conscious, honest and loving state with themselves.
